My Movies
I’ve been making films and writing scripts since I was ten years old: my first film was Indiana Jones and the Sacred Treasure, a 3-minute Super 8 epic. Flash forward to 2010 when, through MilesTone Films, I made my first micro-budget feature for the cinema - CrimeFighters - which you can watch far below for free, and same for my second movie Amber, my stab at a dogme-style film.
…in the years since, I have made a bunch of indie feature films including the slick serial killer comedy Whoops! (also free to watch) and the chaotic feature version of the cult web series Zomblogalypse, which is now available on blu-ray and streaming.
I’m now trying an interesting experiment: working with industry producers and directors in the UK and US to make some more ambitious projects within the system, while directing a few smaller features independently… which means I’m not worrying about finding the money for the larger projects, and forging ahead with virtually no money (or at least starting the process and then finding the budget) for the indie films. Waiting for money or permission is always a massive mistake when it comes to making your own films: neither will happen!
Or as Werner Herzog puts it, “a phone, computer and car — are all you need to produce films.”
At the top of the link stack below is a placeholder for the three movies I’m directing in the next year or so (watch that space for developments soon!) and below that are links to the four indie films I’ve already released into the wild, so go ahead: SNOOP AROUND…
